A PrestaShop alternative with nothing to install

The software is free to download, modify and use. The shop is not. Somebody has to host it, install it, pick the modules that cover what the core does not, pay for those that are paid, and apply updates without breaking the ones already in place. For many shops that somebody is an agency on a monthly retainer, and the retainer is the real price of PrestaShop.

PrestaShop also sells PrestaShop Hosted, which takes the server off your hands: €29 a month, or €24 a month billed yearly (€290), excluding VAT, with a 14-day trial. Modules from the Addons marketplace are still bought one by one.

On WhizzyCommerce the bill has two parts and no third. Free costs nothing a month and 2% of each paid order, so €1,000 of sales costs €20. Pro is €49 a month and 0.5%, so €20,000 of sales costs €149, and the total never goes past €499 in a month. Pro is the cheaper plan from about €3,267 of sales a month. • No percentage. PrestaShop takes nothing from your sales; your costs are hosting, modules and time.
• Multistore. One back office can run several shops, where on WhizzyCommerce a second store is a second shop.

And the honest part: we are in open beta. Cost prices, SAF-T exporters of our own and an agency console are not built yet, and the plugin catalogue is small. If your shop depends on a specific PrestaShop module, check we cover it first.

   Export

   Export products, customers and orders from your PrestaShop back office as CSV files, and keep them as your record: nothing here reads them yet.

   Type them in on the Products screen, where options become real variants, or describe them to the assistant, which adds a few at a time as a preview you confirm and can fetch each product's pictures from a web address.
